EDISON, N.J. — Emerging singers from across the United States took center stage in Edison as STR Entertainment concluded its Talent Hunt 2026 – The Ultimate Voices of Bollywood Grand Finale at Middlesex County College’s West Hall on June 14. The event showcased rising talent and celebrated the enduring appeal of Bollywood music.
The competition culminated months of auditions, rehearsals and performances aimed at providing aspiring singers with a professional platform to showcase their abilities. More than 65 contestants participated in live auditions held on May 22 at Sanjay’s Studio in New Jersey. In a distinctive format, participants performed with live musicians rather than singing to prerecorded tracks. The auditions were judged by Philadelphia-based singer Priya Joshi, and 38 contestants advanced to the semifinal and final rounds.

The grand finale featured live performances accompanied by a professional orchestra, complete with an LED stage and concert-style lighting that recreated the atmosphere of a Bollywood musical production. Acclaimed Bollywood music director Jatin Pandit served as celebrity judge, offering feedback and encouragement to contestants throughout the evening. Host Raahul Jatin kept audiences engaged with his energetic stage presence.
In the Above-26 category, Glory Shah won first place and received a trophy and a $1,000 cash prize. Dr. Mukram Gazi secured second place and a $750 award, while Anchal Sinha finished third and received $500. In the Under-26 category, Arnav Pofale captured first place and a $1,000 cash prize, and Krisha Bhatt earned second place along with a $500 award.

In addition to cash prizes and trophies, the winners will receive opportunities for professional studio recordings and future collaborations with a renowned music label, providing additional exposure and career advancement opportunities. Audience members also enjoyed an evening of live entertainment, celebrity appearances, dinner and refreshments as part of the celebration of Indian music and culture.
STR Entertainment was founded by Sanjay Shah, Dr. Tushar Patel and Rupen Patel, whose mission is to preserve the legacy of Bollywood music while creating opportunities for emerging artists. Organizers thanked contestants, musicians, judges, sponsors, media partners, volunteers and audience members for contributing to the event’s success and said they look forward to continuing the competition in future years.
