
After winning hearts with an intense yet entertaining role in Jolly LLB 2 and delivering a strong performance in Kesari Chapter 2, Akshay Kumar is back in the lawyer’s robes for one of the most awaited films of the year—Jolly LLB 3.
Akshay has mastered the rare ability to bring gripping intensity and effortless entertainment into a frame, whether it is in the emotional gravitas of a courtroom argument or in perfectly-timed humor. Written and directed by Subhash Kapoor, and produced by Alok Jain and Ajit Andhare, Jolly LLB 3 is set to raise the stakes higher than ever, blending razor-sharp humor with a thought-provoking narrative. In this uproarious courtroom comedy, the smart-aleck Jolly Mishra and the jugaadu Jolly Tyagi find themselves back in Judge Tripathi’s court, ensuring a rollercoaster ride of razor-sharp banter, outrageous legal maneuvers and heartfelt moments as these lawyers try to outsmart, outplay and outtalk each other. Packed with laugh-out-loud chaos, dramatic twists and unexpected bursts of compassion, it is set to be the ultimate legal showdown.
Huma Qureshi is Pushpa Pandey Mishra, Jolly Mishra’s wife, Amrita Rao plays Sandhya ‘Sandhu’ Tyagi, Jolly Tyagi’s wife, Annu Kapoor is advocate Pramod Mathur, Boman Irani is advocate Tejindar Rajpal while Sanjay Mishra are also in the cast again as Guruji. Seema Biswas also stars in the film.
This film is a rare case where key characters from both the earlier films are blended it along with the common one of Saurabh Shukla. Jolly LLB and Jolly LLB 2 were respectively produced at the costs of Rs. 10 crore and Rs. 45 crore respectively in 2013 and 2017. While the former was a decent hit, the latter also fared very well and entered the 100-crore club.
