Naperville, IL – The DuPage Senior Citizen Council (DSCC) hosted a heartwarming Senior Lunch Program event at Golconda Restaurant in Naperville, offering not only a delicious meal but also a memorable musical experience for local seniors.
This special afternoon was filled with nostalgia and joy, thanks to the live performance by popular Chicago-based musical group Panch Sur Beats.

The group delighted the audience with timeless Bollywood hits from the 1960s and 70s, performing beloved classics such as “Aap Ki Nazron Ne Samjha”, “Yeh Dosti Hum Nahin Todenge”, and other chart-toppers originally sung by legends like Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Kumar Sanu, and Lata Mangeshkar.
Panch Sur Beats, known for their soulful renditions and community spirit, featured talented performers including Tushar and Nisha Chotalia, Raj and Smita Rai, Jayant Shah, Chetan Ved, and Vibhakar Parikh, with technical support by sound engineer Shailendra Bhatnagar. Their three-hour performance had the entire senior audience singing, clapping, and even dancing along to the tunes of yesteryear.

Adding to the occasion, Jayanti Oza presented a copy of “India Calling 2022”, a prestigious publication by the Government of India written by Chandmal Kumavat, to Sushila Ray and Anjli Khare, site managers of DSCC.
