September 1, 2025 – ZEE5 Global will host the world digital premiere of Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan on September 5. Produced by Mini Films and directed by Santosh Singh, the film is a romantic comedy inspired by Ruskin Bond’s short story The Eyes Have It.
The story follows Jahaan, a gifted blind musician played by Vikrant Massey, and Saba, a spirited aspiring actress portrayed by Shanaya Kapoor in her debut role. Their chance meeting on a train sparks an unexpected bond, one built not on appearances but on shared dreams and heartfelt moments. Zain Khan Durrani appears in a key supporting role.
The film features music by Vishal Mishra, with songs performed by Mishra, Jubin Nautiyal, and Asees Kaur. Set against the backdrop of music and ambition, the narrative explores how love transcends perception and emphasizes unseen emotional connections.

Speaking about the role, Vikrant Massey said playing Jahaan was one of the most enriching experiences of his career, describing the character as someone who perceives the world with rare depth. Shanaya Kapoor said her role as Saba felt like the right story to begin her film career, adding that she connected deeply with the character’s passion and individuality.
Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan will premiere globally on ZEE5 on September 5.
