New York, NY — August 9, 2025: In a landmark moment for the U.S. spiritual community, Paramahamsa Vishwananda, revered spiritual master and founder of the global Bhakti Marga movement, blessed more than 1,250 devotees during a Divine Darshan event at New York City’s iconic Riverside Church on August 9, 2025. The gathering filled the historic cathedral with sacred music, devotional chanting, and an atmosphere of deep reverence.
The six-hour program was marked by soul-stirring kirtan (devotional chanting) that brought voices and hearts together in a shared vibration of love and devotion. Many participants described being moved to tears, overwhelmed by a profound sense of inner peace and connection.
“I am not giving you this Love — I am helping you remember and experience the Love that has always been within you,” Paramahamsa Vishwananda told the gathering, his words drawing emotional responses from attendees.
