More than 100 organizations unite under a shared narrative to strengthen community representation across Chicagoland Free Charity. Clinic opens its doors to uninsured families, seniors, students, and visiting parents. In a landmark moment for the Indian American community, National India Hub—the world’s largest Indian Community Center, spanning 107,000 sq. ft. across six acres and serving as the umbrella organization for 165 Indian associations—led a historic unity gathering on November 22, under the inspiring leadership of founder Harish Kolasani. More than 100 community organizations and institutional leaders joined forces to unveil the transformative “One Voice • One Message” initiative.
As Chief Guests, Illinois State Representative Michelle Mussman and Cook County Commissioner Kevin Morrison delivered powerful messages applauding National India Hub for its exceptional success in uniting diverse communities “without borders.” Both leaders commended the organization’s rapid rise as a trusted hub for service, unity, representation, and civic engagement across Chicagoland.
A Powerful Vision: One Voice • One Message.The newly launched initiative unites organizations under a shared, data-driven, and credible narrative that highlights the enormous positive impact of Indian Americans. It aims to strengthen community representation while educating members about responsible civic behavior—preserving the community’s proud, decades-long reputation for integrity, professionalism, and social contribution.
To expand the reach of this movement, National India Hub partnered with the Bharat Digital Media Federation, receiving enthusiastic support from its Chairman Viswa CM, who is based in India. His leadership has played a crucial role in shaping a global communication strategy that ensures the unified message reaches Indian media networks and digital platforms worldwide.
Addressing Challenges With Strength and Clarity.Community leaders also spoke candidly about rising negative narratives, recent threats to Hindu temples, and isolated incidents of irresponsible behavior that risk misrepresenting a vibrant, law-abiding, and culturally rich community. The initiative aims to proactively counter these misperceptions with truth, unity, and collective responsibility.
Free Charity Clinic: A New Lifeline for the Community.Marking another major milestone the same day, National India Hub launched its Free Charity Clinic, offering preventive healthcare every Saturday, with plans for expansion.The clinic is designed to support:uninsured families,visiting parents,seniors,students and individuals facing medical cost barriers. At a time of skyrocketing U.S. healthcare expenses, this clinic provides a vital service to the community—reflecting National India Hub’s commitment to care without borders.
Unifying Mission Reaffirmed:National India Hub renewed its guiding principle:“To unite and help each other without borders.”With the rollout of “One Voice • One Message,” strong international backing from Bharat Digital Media Federation Chairman Viswa CM, and the inauguration of its Free Charity Clinic, National India Hub has set a remarkable new benchmark for leadership, unity, and community service.
