Robin is the son of Maya Shahani and Dr. Bhagavan T. Shahani, MD, PhD, FACP, FAAN, MBA, Professor Emeritus in the Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation at the University of Illinois at Chicago—a legacy of academic excellence and community service that continues to shape his values and leadership.

With over 25 years of experience spanning fintech, payments, and financial services, Robin has consistently led enterprise-wide initiatives that reimagine the client lifecycle, optimize supply chains, and integrate emerging technologies such as intelligent automation and AI. As a member of FIS’s extended leadership team, he has spearheaded a comprehensive transformation strategy touching Marketing, Sales, Onboarding, Client Services, and Managed Services—delivering measurable value in even the most complex, regulated environments.
In his previous role as Global Chief Procurement and Real Estate Officer, Shahani oversaw more than $4 billion in annual spend and led initiatives that reshaped the company’s workplace experience for over 70,000 employees globally.
