Amazon Web Services (AWS) is currently experiencing a significant global outage.

According to Downdetector – the website performance tracking website, over 15,000 users across different regions are impacted by the outage. The company has confirmed the service outage. “We can confirm increased error rates and latencies for multiple AWS Services in the US-EAST-1 Region,” AWS status page reads. As per Downdetector, the outage began around 8 AM UK time (12:30 pm IST), with the website showing a sharp rise in outage. Users have also reported issues with several services and websites including Snapchat, Roblox, Fortnite, Duolingo, and Ring that depend on Amazon’s cloud system.

Over 15,000 users across various regions have reported issues, according to Downdetector.

The outage began around 8 AM UK time (12:30 PM IST) and has caused a sharp spike in error reports.
