Chicago, IL – The BSC of Chicago Seniors brought the spirit of Navratri alive with a grand celebration of Garba and Raas, held from September 22 to October 1 at the Rana Regan Center in Carol Stream, Illinois. The festive evenings drew more than 400 members, families, and friends each day, filling the venue with devotion, music, and joyous dance.

The celebration began with Arti for Shree Ambe Maa, followed by spirited two- and three-tali Garba performances. Traditional favorites like Sanedo kept the community dancing well into the night, leading into rounds of Dandiya Raas that continued until close to midnight.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, participants enjoyed a wide variety of authentic Indian food options provided by Uru Swati. The smooth execution of the event was credited to the generous support of sponsors, the dedication of volunteers, and especially the contributions of BSC’s younger generation, whose enthusiasm and service ensured the celebration’s success.
