Carol Stream, IL – The BSC (Brahman Samaj of Chicago) Seniors came together in grand style to celebrate the auspicious festival of Navratri with a series of vibrant Garba and Raas nights held from September 22 through October 1, 2025, at the Rana Regan Center in Carol Stream.

The event—aptly named DJ Tracking Navratri—attracted more than 400 participants daily, including members, families, and friends from across the Chicagoland area. The atmosphere was electric, filled with devotion, music, and rhythmic dance that paid homage to the divine spirit of Shree Ambe Maa.
Each evening began with a traditional Arti for Shree Ambe Maa, followed by spirited rounds of two-tali and three-tali Garba that brought the community to the dance floor in unison. The celebrations continued well into the night with lively Sanedo and the pulsating beats of Dandiya Raas, often lasting until close to midnight.

No festival is complete without food, and BSC ensured participants were well cared for with a variety of delicious offerings catered by Uru Swati. Attendees enjoyed authentic flavors that perfectly complemented the festive mood.
The success of this ten-day celebration was attributed not only to the generous support of sponsors and community members but also to the tireless dedication of volunteers. Special recognition went to the younger generation of BSC, whose enthusiasm, organizational skills, and service-minded approach ensured smooth operations throughout the festival—from ticketing to food service to dance coordination.
BSC President Haribhai Patel led members during the Maa Amba Arti, symbolizing unity and devotion within the community. The event underscored the value of cultural heritage while also highlighting the importance of teamwork and intergenerational participation.

The Navratri celebration once again proved that BSC of Chicago is more than just an organization—it is a family that comes together to preserve traditions, strengthen community ties, and celebrate culture with devotion and joy.
