West Windsor, NJ – September 1, 2025 — Mercer County Park came alive over the weekend as thousands of visitors flocked to celebrate the Indo American Fair 2025, a two-day cultural extravaganza blending Bollywood glamour, Indian tradition, and local community spirit.
Organized by the Rajesh and Arun Anand family, the fair has grown into one of New Jersey’s most anticipated annual events, serving as both a cultural showcase and a platform for local entrepreneurs.

Each morning began with the devotional *Ganesh Aarti*, setting the tone for a celebration rooted in tradition. Attendees were treated to a bustling bazaar featuring everything from mouthwatering Indian delicacies and handcrafted jewelry to clothing, banking services, and insurance products. Vendors arrived not only from New Jersey, but also from across the U.S., Canada, and India, reflecting the event’s growing reputation as a hub for cultural and commercial exchange.
The highlight of the fair came with the appearance of Padma Shri awardee and Bollywood icon Kailash Kher, who presented trophies and plaques to sponsors before electrifying the crowd with his chart-topping hits. His performance added star power to the festival and created lasting memories for attendees.

“We are thrilled with the overwhelming response to this year’s Indo American Fair,” said organizer Rajesh Anand. “Our goal has always been to bring the community together while supporting local businesses and artists. This year, we saw an incredible turnout and a fantastic display of talent, culture, and community spirit.”
The stage also belonged to New Jersey’s own rising stars. Dance schools performed classical forms such as Odissi, Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, and Kathak, while Carnatic music ensembles immersed audiences in India’s timeless traditions. On August 31, **Master Ji’s Heritage Ram Leela Studio** presented a moving dramatization of episodes from the *Ramayan* along with scenes from the life of Shirdi Sai Baba, leaving audiences spellbound.
Music and dance pulsed throughout the fairgrounds, with live DJs, local South Asian singers, and high-energy Bollywood-style dance groups keeping the crowd on its feet. The event offered a dignified platform for young performers, ensuring that South Asian traditions remain vibrant in the diaspora while also embracing creativity and modern flair.

Beyond entertainment, the fair spotlighted a colorful array of merchandise—silk sarees, kurtis, scarves, bangles, diamond jewelry, and traditional handicrafts. Visitors explored stalls where culture met commerce, highlighting the event’s role in fostering small business growth within the community.
The fair’s success was made possible by the support of major sponsors including Sony TV, RK Jewels, TV Asia, New York Life, Horizon BCBS, BCB Bank, Radio Mirchi, Parikh Worldwide Media/ITV Gold, Radio Zindagi, Vilux Roses, Curry Zone, Cinestar, Vatan Restaurant, Viara Properties, Dvarka Indian Cuisine, Jewelers 9Lakha, Neer Caterer, The Shruti Batra Team, Tech 365, Rudra Dance Academy, Dreamline Productions, Aspire Builders and Contractors, Lakshmi Kant family, Gaurav and Jyoti Kapoor, Star Tours, The Indian Eye Newspaper, and Aaj Tak, among others.

The fair also drew strong participation from American visitors, who sampled diverse Indian cuisines and enjoyed cultural showcases. Over two days, the Indo American Fair once again affirmed its role as a grand celebration of South Asian art, heritage, and entrepreneurship in New Jersey.
With its growing popularity and impact, organizers promise that the Indo American Fair 2026 will be even bigger and better.
