“India Pavillion” shines at Summer Fancy Food Show 2026

India’s Consul General in New York Binaya Srikanta Pradhan inaugurated the India Pavilion at the Summer Fancy Food Show held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. The event was scheduled for 3 days, June 28-30, 2026.

The event was jointly organized by APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority) which is part of India’s Department of Commerce, the India Trade Promotion Organization, ITPO, and the All India Rice Exporters Association AIREA.

Also present at the inauguration was Dr. Abhishek Dev, Chairman APEDA, Dr. Neeraj Kharwal, MD ITPO, renowned Chef Vikas Khanna and more than 70 Indian exhibitors.

Consul General Pradhan met and shared insights with each exhibitor to strengthen their business in the US market, an X.com post from the Indian Consulate said.

He also engaged with the exporters of various agriculture and food items like Basmati rice and ready to eat food products and applauded their efforts to bring Indian taste in New York, a cuisine that is in high demand in the US.
