Washington DC [US], March 13 (ANI): Hollywood star Nicole Kidman recalled that she asked her co-star Alexander Skarsgard to stop eating falafel before their kissing scenes in ‘Big Little Lies’ because of her disdain for bad breath, according to Variety.
During an interview on the Las Culturistas podcast, she said, “I cannot stand bad breath,” adding, “This is a deal-breaker for me. You could be the most gorgeous, gorgeous guy, and if you came at me with bad breath, I’m like, no. If I say, ‘Breath on me,’ and I have to recoil, yikes, I’m out. You could not offer me enough money.”
‘Big Little Lies’ is an American psychological drama television series based on the 2014 novel by Liane Moriarty. Created and written by David E Kelley, it aired on HBO from February 19, 2017, to July 21, 2019. Jean-Marc Vallee directed the first season, while Andrea Arnold directed the second season.
“When Alexander Skarsgard ate a falafel sandwich before we did the scenes in ‘Big Little Lies,’ I’m like, ‘No, no, no, Alex. I’m meant to be into you and kissing you — put away the falafel now,'” she continued. “I’m sure he did not eat a falafel ever again. I said, ‘No more falafel. Not before you kiss, not before you make love,” she said, according to Variety.
Kidman and Skarsgard starred on the first season of ‘Big Little Lies’ as married couple Celeste and Perry Wright. Both actors won Emmys for their performances. Kidman returned as Celeste for the show’s second season, while Skarsgard made guest appearances.
Variety reported last September that ‘Big Little Lies’ Season 3 is officially in the works at HBO. “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” co-creator Francesca Sloane is writing the first episode and executive producing the third season of the hit series. Sloane will executive produce along with David E. Kelley, Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon, with Kidman and Witherspoon once again leading the cast, as per the outlet. (ANI)
